I owe 3500.00 on my 2007 Maxima se with a
159,000 on it but I have a feeling if I trade it in I
want get that much for it I trade it. Car I like is
8500.00. What should I do.
That's a tough decision. Your choices are: 1) Try to make the deal. The dealer may off you less and then the additional amount you owe would be added to the amount of loan on the new car. (This just pushes your problem into the future because if something happens and you need to sell that car, you owe more than it is worth.) 2) Try to sell your car which may give you enough to pay it off. 3) try to pay down your current loan as fast as possible and buy another car in a few months.
