My 2007 Nissan Murano low fuel light does not come on, is this normal? it shows the fuel economy.

has your fuel pump burned up?....'cause this is what would be the result if the yellow light NEVER came on~ Do you know the capacity of the tank...and drove to the limit as indicated on your calculating touch panel?....in other words, how do you know this is faulty short of a burned up fuel pump?~

If it's anything like the onboard R2D2's that the MINI cooper and the Toyota Prius has it calculates how many miles you can drive before you have to put it in neutral and find the nearest downhill~

The needle looks like it cant go any lower but will still show at least 20-30 miles per gallon left, not brave enough to see the for sure miles to destination lol. When I fuel up the gage and fuel economy both climb like theres not a problem there.

kinda makes one question the curve they are using to calculate the data~
