I think you are correct. The xterra won't start unless I tap this area. The starter, computer, battery, are all working fine also the ignition switch. The car will run for days with no problem or service engine light but the day it won't start I just have to tap it and it starts up just fine . Didn't want to mess with it until I know the parts name. Thanks
