My 2007 Nissan Xterra will stall on me while driving less than 40 mph. At first it would only happen once a month or so. Thought maybe my battery was loose or something. Fast forward to last month, it started happening every other week. Mechanic said it was the gas pump. Replaced it. $300. Then it stalled out again. They said my battery wasn't passing enough current and that I needed a new one. Replaced it. Another $100! Drove it around, stalled out again! Left it parked in a parking lot. Next day it started and I took it to my mechanic and changed my Camshaft sensor. $80! Drove it last night and then it stalled...AGAIN! Parked it at Walmart. This morning I cranked it on no problem. I then replaced the crankshaft sensor... drove it around, everything was gravy. Came home to feed my dog. Jumped in my Xterra to go to work... Back to square one. I'm broke and tiyad, boss! I've noticed it won't start while it's hot. What else can it be??? I bought this vehicle off my mom. It's never had anything wrong w it and has always been upto date on oil changes. Any suggestions would really help.
