Mzrrt- first, I'm very sorry that you're experience buying a used car is so negative. This is why many people will NOT purchase used cars. Did you purchase this car "AS IS? If so, you have no recourse. If it was not sold AS IS, maybe you can contact your local business bureau and see if you can get some help. Many places have an " implied merchantability", meaning the product is sold to you with an expectation that it works for its intended purpose for at least longer than 1 week, usually 90 days. Again, if it was sold "as is", I'm afraid that you assumed all the risk. Did you purchase this from a " used car" dealership?? That's also a huge risk! If you can, ALWAYS look for a used car from a "NEW CAR DEALERSHIP". Why?? Because, they have an important image to protect. It's a really big deal. Hope it works out for you, good luck.
