convertible top leaks in rain

yep.like 70%.usually the top windshiled seal where it meets the top.it can be adjusted and a little silicone can help but looks like crap when the top is down.ive had other seals leak but thats the most common.replacing is prob the way to go but ive had some where i had to try 3 diff seals before it finally stopped.

get it thoroughly inspected at a dealer before it completely spoils ur interiors. http://z4bmw.org/
