limit 59 warning light

Asked by Bvega Dec 31, 2012 at 04:24 PM about the 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe AWD

Question type: General

Every time I exceed 59 miles per hour I get a warning light that looks like a tire or circle and the number 59 is in the
middle. To the left of the circle it has the word limit. I've looked all over the manual and can't find anything.

Possible user programmable "speed limit is reached" warning but don't quote me on this.

I bought a used 2006 911 S and the same thing happens to me when I hit 78 mph. Assumed the prior owner programmed it in, but I have no clue - sorry

Look at page 101 of the owners manual that might be the solution.
