i replaced the head gasks and intake manifold gasks on my 1993 350 Blazer and cannot get it to start now, i am getting fire and fuel. was starting fine and running but producing white smoke from exaust before gaskts replacement

Timing is off. This engine can throw u off cause timing mark ligns up when timing is 180 degrees off. Make sure the mark is at TDC and #1 piston is up.

I've been @ TDC W/ #1 up the whole time. this is only the 6th time i have redone head &intk gaskts i am at a lose what am i missing???
