98 lasabre lf window not work there is a control by motor that clicks when i hit switch down only

window stuck half down looks theres a control module goes to motor how can i tell whats
bad not switch rerplaced

More than likely window motor it self is bad,the relay is only to tell the motor which way to go,up or down,may change it first,then if it don,t fix the issue,change the motor.

Did you hear an unusual noise the last time the window moved down? Sometimes the pulley/cable system gets fouled up and stops the motor from working. The whole mess is called the window regulator assembly and it's not fun to replace. Lots of videos on YouTube showing various models, but you'd get the idea
