20 mins went to start it back up and nothing. When
you turn it over it would click but really lightly then
it stop after a couple of trys lights on dash dimed
when turning the key. Replace the replace the
battery and same thing but the starter made a
whine noise an smoking alittle an smell of burning.
Changed the starter still have the Same problem

Make sure battery connections all good, check the starter wiring circuits and fuses. Not only check applicable fuses use a testlight and check voltage on fuse circuit. As you can see, your security has some control. You can try jumping the starter solenoid just to see if it will crank the engine, that doesn't mean it will start. If you try something like that, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.
Starter will engage what I won't rotate the motor but when the starter engages the whole motor kind of jerks for a little bit
Maybe your engine is trying to seize? Can you turn the crankshaft by hand? Pull the spark plugs incase of hydrostatic lock/liquid in the cylinder/s. Taking the belt loose should help to turn crank pulley by hand as well as the spark plugs. If you still can't turn the crank, it is trying to seize for some reason, internal engine.
I I can rotate it backwards 8 times and then stops then rotate It Forward three times and then it stops
Is security engaged. Also check the battery terminal connections. Positive battery stud and the double positive connection
@Willis99. Did you ever solve this issue??. My car is doing the same thing
