2007 Grand Prix Overheat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car drove fine till lower radiator coolant hose
popped off. Now overheats. 153xxx miles,
replaced ECT sensor and thermst.

I agree, you may need to either idle it with the coolant cap off for a few min to let the air out, or check if you have a coolant bleeder on the engine

I only see a bleeder valve on thermostat housing, but anyways. Now Check Gas Cap shows up on my dash?

Figured out previous owner put 2 quarts too much motor oil. draining that now. Keep you updated tho for sure.

Car is now accelerating on its own. Shocking! But I’m thinking it’s the acc. Pedal sensor ?
