what could be causing the back of the engine to smoke after a flush.

I flush my  system because my heat stop working every since i flush my
heatcore system my engine had been burning at the back of it everytime i
crank it The back of my engine is running hot now so i was trynna see if its
my oil bowls or another repair

The plastic elbows that go to the heater are prone to leaking. It's possible that the flushing process has caused them to fail. They are cheap to fix and will leave you stranded if they fail.
