Not gonna happen. Your car is FWD and without enough money to pay off the national debt you will not get far.
Of course you can you would need the sub frame in which the engine sits along with its transmission you would be better off buying a cheap maybe wrecked V8 car and transfer components onto your GP it’s definitley do- able
$995. That's how much an economy V8 kit from Archie's costs to do a V8 swap for a Fiero. The transmission in your car is essentially the same considering both vehicles came with GM's 60 degree V6. Putting a Small block chevy in a front wheel drive has been done numerous tines and without really that much fabrication. If you have access to a lift or gantry and are capable enough with a welder it wouldn't be more than a weekend job. Gm's 4t65E is computer controlled though, so you'd need a transmission controller ($500-$600 or so) but that's literally just unplugging one and plugging in another. Another thing- the GXP motor is all it's own. That block isnt the same as the other LS motors and if your heart is really set on having that, save the effort and go buy a Grand prix GXP. Im in the middle of a V8 swap for a 2001 Grand prix.
Can I swap a 2006 Pontiac GTO 6.0 L V8 engine into a 2007 Pontiac grand prix?
