Low beams don’t come on , only brights. Dealership says bad fuse block (under hood) can’t seem to find it anywhere ? They wanted $700+ to replace . Any ideas??

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There was a recall for lowbeams not coming on but dealership says they fixed
it, that a new “fuse block” was the problem and it was outrageously priced to
have them fix it. Since my cruise has also quit working..... ? (Yes fuses were
checked)

Find a shop that specializes in just automotive electrical work. They are likely better equipped and more experienced ad diagnosing and fixing this sort of problem. Don't forget there are thousands of used parts out there. Look into that before dropping big money on an expensive new part for an older car.
