My 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix will start no problem
and then when I push on brake to shift it out of
Park it wont for there is huge resistance. I can pull
hard and it pops past and then will go to Reverse

put it back in Park it wont go either. Help please...

Sounds like a linkage problem of some sort. Try pushing down on the shifter before shifting. Mine had some sort of a similar problem and that usually helped. Something was loose or not seated properly in the linkage. Was going to get in there and check it out some day but a poorly driven Freightliner made it unnecessary. Hopefully your experience will be different.
