Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Air conditioning/ Heater not working. There is
no noise no air flow no nothing. All of sudden
it just stopped working. Do I replace the
blower motor and the resistor or does anyone
have suggestions. I checked all fuses and
they are all good.

On the passenger side floor under dash remove panel, blower motor will be plugged in on the lower part of motor, disconnect and inspect connection for melted connector, or burned terminals if good use test light to probe the colored wire purple Chevrolet red on mopar/dodge/jeep or yellow on ford. If test light lights up w switch on motor is toast, no curremt look to resistor should be near blower motor w resistor exposed to airflow for cooling. Be sure to test for curremt at resistor before buying ANY PARTS. check twice buy once.

On my old Jeep it was the blower motor, it just quit. I will never own another Jeep.
