I want to replace my Battery.

Asked by GuruBHNPR Mar 29, 2020 at 02:23 PM about the 2006 Jeep Wrangler SE

Question type: General

1) What is the correct Group size, the cold Cranking Amp size for a 2006 Jeep
Wrangler TJ with the SE package and the 2.4 Litre engine? Do I have to stay in
that Group size? 3) Can I go with a different group size and larger Cranking
Amps as long as the Battery will fit in the mounting plate? By the Way I found
this Jeep through CarGurus.

If you want to go bigger, measure the space you have and compare that to other batteries.

I have and there are several Batteries that are the same size and will fit just different group numbers and a little different on the CCAs some have a little less CCAs like 600 and others have a little more like 700 CCA's. the one that is in it is 660 CCA's. Will these different CCA's hurt my Jeep's Electrical system or it won't start or perform correct???
