Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, I know nothing about cars and I have no one in my life that knows about cars. The dealership wont look at my car without me paying them. I told them I just needed the name of a part and they said they couldn't help me. LAME.

The problem: My air conditioner blows air, but not cold air. I looked at my engine, the best I could, and notice a tube leaking. I tried using the cans that seal leaks and it worked for a little bit. I came to the conclusion that I need a new part. It's a tube that goes from plastic to metal. Any ideas to what it is? I have plans on going to a pick and pull  and getting the part, but I'd like to call before making the trip.

Please help. I'm totally clueless...

Go to an independent A/C repair shop. They can tell you what part you need and you will have to use them to draw a vacuum, check for leaks and refill the system after repairs are done.

There's repair shops strictly for A/C? Or would it still be a body shop? I looked it up on yelp and they only thing that I found was home AC repair.. Would they know about it? (Might sound dumb, but you never know...)

Many of the car repair shops offer A/C service. I took my car to one after a front end collision repair. A body shop should be able to recommend one.
