There is an Air Idle Control valve on the throttle body, either replace it or clean, But you must clean the port it goes into, it gets all plugged up. This is a major vacuum port so it is critical to be careful when re-installing the AICV. Put some non evasive lube on the seal, this would make it easier to install. It is best to take the throttle body off to clean it, and clean the whole throttle body, (TBI). Also replace the TBI base gasket...Picture of AICV......https://www.carid.com/1992-chevy-s-10-pickup-fuel-delivery-parts/delphi-idle-control-valve-8135970.html

Check out the cat, it would be glowing orange if it is plugged.

Doesn't seem like any if the hoses are clugged. The cat is not glowing. Idle still sucks and no acceleration or power when I push the gas pedal.

You did not mention if you replaced the rotor in the distributor, was that done? Also snug up the intake manifold bolts, and check the throttle body base gasket, this still could be a vacuum leak. Possible MAP sensor like TrannyMan says.
