Top does not operate.

Asked by Henry May 31, 2013 at 12:54 PM about the 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car has just come from storage, top up and battery disconnected.
I pushed the open button and the windows went down and the hatch cover opened, and the alarm sounded, no further movement. I was able to complete the operation by hand little resistance including closing the hatch cover. On pushing the close button the windows go down, the hatch cover opens the alarm sounds and no further movement.
