The display up on the top of the dash? Clock/radio display.on top of dash is a 15 amp fuse in drivers side fuse panel. It also does the cig lighter. Number 16 I believe. Also if you have the stock infinity sound system the main control box for it is under the passenger seat in some models. They tend to get wet and go bad.
And its not the fuses I've even replaced fuses and error code still appears
I would check for power on the connections at back of radio. On some models there is more than one fuse that operates the sound system.
Or try disconnecting the battery for at least ten minutes. This tends to reset things on these cars. You might get lucky.
Thanks bro ill try the battery thing and let you kno but unfortunately my its my girls car and she's got to leave to work here in a minutes will you check this post out after like 5 to see if it didn't work
Found this. --- The e-com error means there is a communication issue between the radio and the center display, or between either of them and the amplifier if you have the amplified system. It is not uncommon to see this during or near a low voltage situation, though if that is all it is it should go away on it's own. --- some have found that a battery terminal issue was causing the code or loose wiring harness to one of the components. Ok will check back later
Ok so computer reset didmt work but when gets off I will try to find the other ends of the harnesses because the harnesses to the radio and cd player I've plugged and unplugged and made sure were plugged back in correctly
United Radio Service in East Syracuse, NY fixes these units. http://www.unitedradio.com/automotive-electronics/
