Where do I locate the Transmission backup light switch on
my 2006 Scion xB

My backup lights aren’t working. I checked the fuses, wiring, and bulbs. Then someone suggested to replace the transmission light switch. I need to know where it’s located so I can replace it. Any ideas?

is the car manual transmission or automatic? if its manual here is a link that shows the location on the gearbox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqODBcGh8lE if its automatic then there is no switch
