Pros and cons of a 2006 vs 2009 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet?

Best bet is to talk to owners that are on forums. You can find forums by searching the net using "Porsche forum". Look for forums that have many members and threads. They're are usually two or three active ones for every make.
The 2009 is a Gen 2 model with upgraded suspension, PCM (communications, touch screen navigation), exterior LED lights, new direct injection engines and PDK instead of Tiptronic. I have a Gen 2 cabriolet, its a great car and if you shop carefully, there is not too much difference in price between a 2006 and 2009
i work for porsche and drive both of them regulary the gen2 is the way to go not a huge fan of the cabs but go with the latest model you can get and just check that all maintence, campaigns and recalls have been done and make sure the maintence has been done with in the last year because part of the maintence is cleaning the water drains and if those are not cleaned regulary the car will flood and your carpet and cu will be destroyed
Thanks to both of you, very helpful. I am searching hard and closing in on the Gen 2 version.
