Wont start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have an 06 Chrysler Pacifica Touring.
We have been having the problem with stalling
when decreasing speed. That is what led to the
current problem. When turning in to the park where
I live, the engine stalled and I coasted to my home
(about 100 yds). At about 50 yds there was a
backfire anf now it wont start. We've had the
battery tested but I really dont know where to start
due to the backfire. Some of the dash lights come
on. Sometimes the door dings and sometimes it
does not.

This is what I posted.... I have an 06 Chrysler Pacifica Touring. We have been having the problem with stalling when decreasing speed. That is what led to the current problem. Since the post 6 days ago...I've added a 4gauge ground from the -negitive battery post to the starter. I have also replaced the starter even though the starter tested good. The ingintion and actuator have not been checked because power is getting to the starter. Tomorrow I will check to see if the engine has seized. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Alicia Can't do a compression test as the car will not turn over.
I have a 2006 chysler pacifica it start something but want stay on it dies right away like its not getting gas please help
I bought my daughter an 07 pacifica. It would run but would just die all of a sudden. It was the EGR sensor. A cheap fix and never had the problem again.
Check your alternator. Also, EGR valve.
