Trouble code(s)

Asked by Jim Nov 08, 2018 at 04:30 PM about the 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited Wagon FWD

Question type: General

I have a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited with 85,000 miles on it.  Recently
it started missing and bucking intermittently  & the check engine came on.  I
put my code reader on it and it showed the following codes:
PO303 01/02 and a PO303 P 02/02.  I cleared the codes and after about a
week or so, the check engine light came back on with the same codes.  The
car has never overheated, and it gets right at 16.4 miles a gallon (not that it
ever got over 17 or 18 miles a gallon from when I bought it new).   No smoke
from the exhaust.
Would a clogged /plugged fuel injector cause this issue?
Thanks!
