what causes my 20 fuse to keep poping

Halo 2 you.you dont mention what the purpose of the fuse is,nevertheless 20A is a bit huge.1st off all dont replace with a ampage fuse it can cause burnt wiring if it aint blowing it.what ever the fuse is use for got a wire thats got a possitive current and it can either be thats it laying down to earth(on chassis) or the component is faulty that the fuse is connected to.
