1996 Town & Country. I heard water sloshing from sloshing on acceleration from someplace near the passenger floorboard. Got on the highway, and wipers stopped working, motor runs, but wipers stopped.

If you are sure the wiper motor is running, then it's somewhere in the mechanical linkage to the wipers. As far as sloshing water....I have no clue except heater core but that is unlikely to hear that from core. I doubt the two are related.
