Question type: General

I have a service manual for a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country LXi.. My question is,
Cylinder 1 is paired with Fuel Injector # 2. Cylinder 2 is paired with Fuel Injector
1.Cylinder 3 is paired with Fuel Injector 4 and so on. Is this correct?

My 14 way wiring connector 5013961AA is melted due to heat and age and I am re-
wiring it.This connector houses the injectors, coils, ASD, MAP sensor, ECT sensor, 5V sense, and sensor ground circuits. Please help. Thank in advance.

Thank you for your quick reply. I have this in my service manual. My question is, why is cylinder 2 paired with Fuel Injector 1 as seen in my picture. I have it to Fuel Injector 1 and the corresponding cylinder is 2. Shouldn't it be Cylinder 1 to Fuel Injector 1? Just curious. By the way, I have shorts all over from connector f02 to PCM E44. Thanks again and regards.
