radiators 99 town and country

the 99 town and country came with two different radiators for same van, make, model, engine, year. one radiator had outlet on the drivers side the other radiator had the outlet on the passenger side. WHY?

Why? Because that is how the Chrysler Corporation designed them. The different designs would probably make perfect sense if the engineer that did the work explained it to us. So why not just get the correct radiator for your vehicle?
