Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car will not start because we think the anti-theft has been turned on due to a key being used in ignition that was not chipped and the car only makes this clicking sound.

If car is started with a key without the chip, the engine will shut down (anti theft feature)...my 2005 T&C minivan manual states after three tries of starting car with a key without the chip the engine will not start and the car will need to be towed to a dealership to be reprogrammed.
