turns but won't start

my wife was backing the car out of our garage & it died.When i got home & tried it,it turns over but will not start.Tried jumpstart but problem is the same.Car turns but will not start.Had xmision rebuilt 6 monthsago.

First thing that comes to mind is a bad crank position sensor. Don't go buying one without getting the car scanned if you can help it. Find some second opinions to other causes. Try some starting fluid to see if you have spark.

My 1998 t&c minivan would turn over but not stay started... try later it would start normally. after repairing my cluster per this youtube the problem has not returned. take a look... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GczhHgdUuI4

I changed my spark plugs and it was still misfiring. I bought a new coil but before i changed it, it was still starting and running after i changed the coil the truck wont start no more, it just turns but wont start. What can it be?
