Honestly that sounds about right. It takes a little while for the engine to heat up the coolant for you to have heat.

Have a Shop Install an Auto Start Alarm so in the morning while having your coffee you can press the key fob to auto start your car while you finish up by the time you get into the car it should be warmed up for you

there isn't a problem.... that is normal.... install a remote starter so car can run a few minutes prior to getting in the vehicle. or get an electric heater that will plug into your 12v connection, you can get them at local stores, auto parts, or maybe even walmart.. goodluck!
