I found a sensor on the driver's side on the bell housing with 4 wires on it, that I took to be it, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks

Your location I believe is correct, I found this: The actual sensor should be on the transmission just above the passenger side axle shaft. It should have two wires going to it. It is driven off the output shaft of the transmission. Thanks
