1998 Buick Century just clicking noise, new battery, new starter

1998 Buick Century, was running fine.  I parked it to flush the cooling system, which
might be a coincidence, but now the car won't start.  I'm not a mechanic, but it's not
the first flush and fill I've done either.
I drained the cooling system.  Installed a Prestone tee in the heater core line and
started flushing the gunk out.  I went to start the car to turn the heater on and have the
clean water circulate and the car just made a clicking noise.  I checked the battery,
and it wasn't bad but

it wasn't great so I bought a new one. Same click, no start. I pulled the starter and bought a new re-manufactured starter. Installed the starter, exact same issue. Just a click. Lights and radio have plenty of power. Tried two different keys. Tried starting in neutral instead of park.
