I am looking for the location of the timing belt and fuel pump on a 99 buick century and is this something I can do myself or do I need a mechanic to do this.

I believe that you are going to have a timing chain instead of a belt. And it's location is behind all your other belts and pulleys covered by a timing chain cover bolted to the motor. Your fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You might could do it yourself with the proper tools but if you don't normally work on your car I would advice to seek a mechanic. These jobs would probably not easy for someone's first attempt at auto repair.
