Question type: Maintenance & Repair
my girlfriend has a 1999 buick century custom with a v6 3.1 L the car will crank over but
not start, its getting fuel, spark, and air. we changed plugs, wires, ignition control module,
crank sensor, harmonic balancer, and the starter. the distributer caps work, the fuel pump
is perfect, and we have an injector pulse. it ran died, started up agian ran for about 15
miles then died agian and hasn't started since. at first it didnt throw a check engine code,
but when it finaly did it was a P0300 ( random misfire code), also it seems to want to start
up but doesnt.

Was the GM crankshaft variation relearn procedure performed when the crankshaft sensor was replaced?

it wont work cause it wont even start up so theres no way for us to preform the procedure http://my.cardone.com/techdocs/PT%2070-77-0003.pdf
Did you check the fuel pressure regulator? Take off the vacuum hose at the top of the regulator, then have someone crank the engine. If gas squirts from the hose connection, replace the regulator.
