My 1999 Buick Century insturment panel lights suddenly went out

instument panel lights don't work,or the control button lights on the radio aand heater
but the turn signals work,the radio works,the heater works
The service engine light is on aand was on before this
Also the gear indicater lights are on
Whaaat can I check?

did you try the dimming switch to see if there not just adjusted to low to see them or there is a small amp fuse in fuse box that could be blown but most people don't no about the bright and dimming switch for the dash lights and heater and radio controls iam not sure were its at on that car

yes tryed that fuse is good dimmer is turned to max
