Blower motor won't turn off

The blower motor on 1999 buick century keeps running with key off and runs
down battery. Switch on AC/heater won't  turn it off at any setting...just stays
on HI even in OFF position.

You have a bad selector switch in heater console it self.

You can take the heater blower fuse out untill you find the issue,keep from killing the battery.

Thank you TST. Is that different from the blower motor resistor? Someone told me it is the blower motor resistor.

Replaced the switch assembly and all had the issue. Then replaced the blower fan motor resistor and problem was solved.
