My car is only blowing hot air, compressor works fine but always hot. Put Freon in and that worked for about two weeks and hot again. Had it inspected and they said they could not find any leaks. Please help.

LEAK IN SYSTEM..SEE ANY OIL AROUND ANY HOSE FITTINGS/HARD PARTS??/..OR ..A VACUUM LINE

No oil, no leaks that are visible. Vacuum line? Where? How?

Is the compressor clicking on and off ?

yes it is firebird338...it blows really strong air but is very hot...

Because like Kelly said if you had freon put in system and it worked for two weeks and its hot again it has to be a leak now if you said the system is full and still blowing hot air that is a different story.

Leak must be in the evaporator in the vehicle where you can not see.

But its weird, I had it to a shop and they ran some liquid through it and could not find any leaks at all. So how do I test the evaporator?

I am going to recommend something that I used before and it worked great. R134a refrigerant stop leak put some in a friends vehicle last summer and I talked to him just the other day and its still cold.

HEATER DOOR ALSO...BUT HEATHER TURN IT ON AND AC AND FEEL THE AC HOSE UNDER THE HOOD GOING INSIDE THE CAR IF ITS COLD IF IT IS THERES SOME?FREON IN THE SYSTEM...IF ITS COLD AT THE FIRE WALL AREA..THEN ITS A HEATER DOOR/ARM/MOTOR/VACUUM HEATER CONTROL VALVE..AND SO ON..

To get to the evaporator you have to take underneath the dash out the heater / A.C box.

Hose is not cold when on.

Clutch? Its an automatic, but yes compressor is going on and off.

HAAHAA YES COMPRESSOR..OK SO A SHOP PUT SOM FLUORESCENCES IN THE SYSTEM AND CHECKED IT WITH A BLUE LIGHT?? CAUSE A LEAK THAT BAD WILL SHOW UP EVEN UNDER THE DASH...YOU SURE YOU DONT SEE ANY OIL SEEPING /DARK FILM WET ANYWHERE?

FIREBIRD...I WOULD NOT PUT A SEALER IN?? ESPECIALLY WITH A GM ORIFICE TUBE...

Hey I have a question I have Freon in my 97 Buick century also and when I stop sit still for a good min it blows out hot air but it’s blows good cool air later in the afternoon but early in the day when it’s hot Blows hot air...

The compressor is working, new Freon, but no cool air.
