My main or bright lights wont turn on

Just bought my son his first car. all is good except the tail lights won't come on. I've checked and replaced fuses and bulbs to no avail. Please help

It's not the battery or the connections. I checked them all. The dash lights all come on but it makes no sound and does not crank.

Have replaced front & rear wheel hubs & ABS module. Make go weeks then comes on, resets when engine shuts off. Other times stays on for days.
