wipers work but washers do not

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

wipers work when washer switch is pressed but washer pump receives no
voltage. 12 volts on gray wire at wiper motor when washer switch is pressed.
Checked continuity of wiring between wiper motor and pump. checked
continuity to ground from pump.  Tried a known good pump. No voltage
coming out of wiper motor circuit board. Tried a known good circuit board.
Checked that i have fluid a\nd lines are clear.  I am mystified as to what
could be causing this

I would test if voltage gets to the washer pump/motor. Could also test the washer pump/motor by jumpering directly to it from the battery. I believe that the washer switch manually pushes the wiper switch. I do not know the routing of the wire to the washer but question if it would go to the wiper motor at all.
