3.1 v6? first u have to b determined to get it done. also use different lengths of extensions. its best if u have small arms but u have to just reach back there and do it. to install plugs, obtain a 6in length of vacuum line( 6in is just approx., do what u want). insert the tip of the spark plug into the line(not the threaded end). place the plug in the spark plug hole and twist the vacuum line to get the threads started. then tighten down with what ever variation of extensions and determination u used to remove them.

some say removing the white coolant recovery container will help you get in the rear at the plugs , Im still wondering if I have to go from the bottom on ramps
