Try the junk yard switch. It's a cheap and easy start.
Did you ever find a solution? This exactly just happened to mine
I've just had exactly the same thing happen to mine as well. Anybody willing to share what you found, what the fix was?

The tan and white wire underneath the driver seat maybe corroded good luck
Thanks. I actually found and fixed it a couple of months ago. It was a corroded wire splice under the driver's seat. Turned out it was pretty easy to find. The splice was oozing green corrosion. I stripped the wires back and crimped them. Sealed them up with the same self fusing tape I use on my boat to try to keep the water out. A pain to get the seat out of the way, and surprising how much water was under the seat, but otherwise not a terribly difficult job.
