Then check the ABS pump assembly, if you get air in that you will have a nightmare time getting it too bleed out. You will need to bleed the system with the key on and go all the way down with the brake pedal. I have had a few that required me to reverse bleed the system to get the air out but not everyone has a reverse bleed system, so if you can't get it then you may need a brake shop to get it done.

If one line is rotted out then the rest aren't far behind , purging out dry brake lines is not for the novice . I've heard most ABS systems can be bled as normal . I had a 2002 lesabre and I was never happy with the brake peddle going so far down . You should fit your foot under the peddle after applying brakes . I took it to a shop for the ABS bleed and the whole 9 yards and it was alright but still seemed not up to par . The guy said once you work on them the peddle is never as good as factory . another source said it was the nature of the beast so who knows .
