2001 LaSabre

as driving car shuts off and put in neutral and restarts but shut off about 5
times in a 10 mile trip???? Another time it was like the cruise control was
locked on----shut car off, stomped on gas pedal a couple times and restarted
and was fine??????????? Help

I would suspect the throttle position sensor

The best way is with a scanner, it can also be done with a DVOM believe it or not go to your local library check out a manual and follow the instructions. I hope this helps you
