02 lesabre blend actuator problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

02 lesabre blend actuator problem. The actuator behind
glove box controls what? And is there another actuator
towards the drivers side up behind the dash. This model
doesn't have dual control. It changes from cool to heat
just fine but doesn't change to vent. It starts on the floor
then changes to defrost all of a sudden by itself.
Whenever I'm searching for the part it only shows 1 type
of actuator and that's the 1 behind glove box. Any help
would be deeply appreciated

It's a real son of a bitch problem to answer. I replaced both blend acuators in December 2019, after purchasing a 2000 LeSabre since there was no heat. Heat worked fine. Then the cooling issues started. Had the refrigerant replaced, worked fine for about 3 months, not it does air conditioner does not work, even though the refrigerant and compressor are fine.
