DO THE TRANSMISSIONS  in a 2003 Buick leSabre custom  have problems.  I
have 70,000 on mine and its starting to hard shift , so  I hear these a fix kit  for
this , then I hear that the electronics like the MAP sensor  MAF sensor  can
cause shift problems   so what's up ?

Yes. All transmissions eventually have problems. Have a transmission shop diagnose yours.

They sure do. There's a shaft in the transmission that wasn't hardened at the factory. The splines break off and you lose overdrive and TCC lock in. At 70,000 miles you're right there at the failure point. A reputable transmission shop can fix it. Hope that helps! Jim
