Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car will not start! The battery has a
full charge and is new, also new
alternator, plugs and wires!  When you
turn the key to start the car, nothing!
The power seats and windows work!
But absolutely does not make a sound
when you try to start it!  No wa wa wa,
click click click, nothing!  Any ideas?  I
am female and my husband passed
away January 2!  It's was starting fine
until now! Any suggestions or guidance
would be appreciated!  Thank you k

Mine does that all the time. It is a security lock out function. Only a key with transponder in it will start the car. If you know you have the right key then there is another thing to check. On the right side of the steering column there is a squarish rubber plug thingy. Pry that out and wiggle the electronic chip you should see in there. It does not always keep a good contact. And when that happens the security feature prevents the car from starting.
