While driving my guages and instrument lights turn off and back on as if i just started the car, could this be a faulty ignition switch?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is only while driving, does not happen
when parked and idling or even if idling in
gear.

I would almost say there is a bad conection or even bad solder joint on the back of the cluster. with road vibration might set it off. I have seen it more times then not

Agree with PrideAuto,if your car continues to run right and only have the light issue.

With my car it ended up being a dirty connector to gauges. I cleaned it up and have not anymore issues.
