Have replaced tires, one axle and bushings.
Mechanic says front end feels tight. Car
drives smooth as glass when first starting
out in the morning. Especially when cold

Left out that the problem really seemed to start right after I put in new struts and shock assemblies.

It may cause tire to get a bulge in it. Go to discount tire they will look at it. Then it needs alignment.
